Our son began working with Ms. Broder at the start of his 6th-grade year to help solidify key math concepts and prepare him for the faster pace and more complex content of Middle School. When Erica first started working with my 9th grader, he was close to failing Algebra. In the four months they have been working together, she has helped him go from near failure to an A student. Erica has taken the time to collaborate with his teacher and him to ensure he stays on task and understands the content. She adjusts her teaching style to meet my son's needs, helping him with math while also working with him on executive functioning skills, keeping his schoolwork organized, ensuring he takes appropriate notes, and staying on task.
